Which form is your company’s crime coverage written on?

Some insurers may not currently provide their Crime coverage on a loss sustained form. When an insurance company writes theirs on a Discovery form, which is much more beneficial to the insured, coverage is provided in more favorable terms.

  • ‘Loss sustained’ policy option covers losses that occurred and were discovered during the policy period
  • ‘Loss discovered’ provides coverage for losses discovered and reported within the policy period, regardless of when they occurred.
